The Idea

Word Wheel is a crossword you fill by spelling, not typing. A wheel of letters sits at the bottom of the screen; drag your finger through them to make a word, lift, and watch it settle into the grid above. Fill every cell and the level is done.

There are no timers, no lives, and no coins to hoard. Just a painted sky that changes as you travel through twenty chapters, a soft sound when a word lands, and the small satisfaction of a crossword filling itself in.

A fresh Daily Puzzle arrives each day, the same one for everyone.

How To Play

1Swipe to spell
Drag across the letters on the wheel. Each letter can be used once per word. Lift your finger to submit.
2Fill the crossword
Words that belong in the grid drop into place. Find them all to finish the level and move on to the next.
3Collect bonus words
Spelled a real word that isn’t in the grid? It still counts. Bonus words go into your collection and fill the jar — every ten earn you a hint.
4Ask for a hint when stuck
A hint reveals one letter in the grid. You get three each day, more from the jar, and you can watch a short ad for two more. Premium makes hints unlimited.
5Come back tomorrow
Solve the Daily Puzzle to keep your streak alive, then share a spoiler-free card with friends.

Questions

What counts as a word?

Grid words are everyday English chosen by hand. Bonus words are checked against a much wider dictionary, so if it’s a real word you can spell from the wheel, it counts.

When does a new daily puzzle arrive?

A new puzzle unlocks at midnight, local time, and is the same for every player. If you stop mid-puzzle, your progress is saved and you can pick it up later that day.

Can I replay a level?

Yes — open Chapters and tap any level you’ve unlocked. Your best star rating is kept.

Do I lose anything if I use a hint?

Only stars: three stars for no hints, two for one or two, one for more. Nothing else is taken away and there is no game over.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Every level and every daily puzzle ships inside the app. No account, no sign-in, no connection needed.

Premium

Word Wheel is free to play. Premium removes interstitial ads and makes hints unlimited — and helps support continued development. It’s offered as a monthly, quarterly or yearly subscription.

Subscription terms

Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the same price.
You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your App Store account settings.
Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Privacy Policy

Word Wheel does not collect, share, or sell any personal data.
All game progress, stars, bonus words, streaks and settings are stored locally on your device.
No account or sign-in is required to play.
The app shows ads through Google AdMob; before any tracking across other companies’ apps and websites for personalized advertising, the app asks your permission using Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT). You may allow or deny this, and change your choice anytime in Settings.
The app does not track your location or access personal information.
