A challenging word puzzle game where you find hidden connections between 16 words. Group words into 4 categories based on their common theme. Test your vocabulary and lateral thinking with daily puzzles or unlimited practice mode.

How to Play

You are presented with 16 words arranged in a grid. Your goal is to find 4 groups of 4 words that share a common connection or theme. Select 4 words and submit your guess. If correct, the category is revealed. If wrong, it counts as a mistake. You have up to 4 mistakes before the game ends.

1. What is Daily Puzzle mode?

Every day at midnight, a new puzzle is released for all players worldwide. The daily puzzle is numbered (Puzzle #1, #2, etc.) so you can discuss it with friends. Complete daily puzzles to build your streak and track your consistency.

2. What is Practice mode?

Practice mode offers unlimited randomly generated puzzles. Choose from three difficulty settings:

• Easy: 2 Yellow + 2 Green categories - Perfect for warming up
• Medium: Mixed difficulties (Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple) - Balanced challenge
• Hard: 2 Green + 1 Blue + 2 Purple categories - For puzzle masters

3. What does "One Away" mean?

When you select 4 words and 3 of them belong to the same category, you'll see a special "One away!" alert. This means you're very close - just one word needs to be swapped out. Use this feedback strategically to solve tricky categories.

4. How does the timer work?

The game tracks your completion time. Each mistake adds a 10-second penalty to your final time. Try to solve puzzles quickly and accurately to set new personal records. Your best times for each difficulty level are saved in your statistics.

5. What statistics are tracked?

Word Connection Game tracks comprehensive statistics including:

• Current and longest daily streaks
• Total games played (daily and practice separately)
• Perfect games (0 mistakes) for each difficulty
• Best completion times for each difficulty
• Average mistakes per game

6. Can I customize the app's appearance?

Yes! Premium subscribers can customize:

• Font Colors: Classic, Pure White, Pure Black, Warm Gray, Cool Gray, Cream
• Category Colors: Classic, Sunset, Ocean, Forest, Berry, Mono palettes
• Fonts: Classic Rounded, Serif, Monospaced, Playful, Elegant

7. Does Word Connection Game work offline?

Yes! The game works completely offline. All puzzles are generated locally on your device. You can play anytime, anywhere without an internet connection.

8. How do I reset my statistics?

Go to Settings > Reset All Statistics. Be careful - this action is permanent and will delete all your progress, streaks, and records.

Subscription Terms

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
• You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your App Store account settings after purchase.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
