Wend — Daily Word-Trace Puzzle

The Idea

Each Wend puzzle is a small grid hiding four words — three, four, five, and six letters long. Every word winds through neighbouring tiles, and together they cover every open tile exactly once. Find all four and the board is solved. A fresh puzzle arrives each day; solve it, keep your streak, and come back tomorrow.

No clutter, no pressure to grind. Just one considered puzzle a day — plus an endless practice mode whenever you want more.

How To Play

Drag across adjacent tiles to trace a word, then lift your finger to lock it in. Each of the four words has its own colour, so the board fills in as you go. The chips below the grid show how long each word is until you find it.

Blue — the three-letter word.
Orange — the four-letter word.
Green — the five-letter word.
Purple — the six-letter word.

Stuck? A hint reveals the starting tile of the shortest word you haven’t found yet.

Questions

How do the four words fit together?

Every open tile on the board belongs to exactly one word. When you’ve traced all four words — three, four, five, and six letters — the whole board is filled and the puzzle is solved.

When does a new puzzle arrive?

A new daily puzzle unlocks each day, with a countdown in the app showing the time until the next one. Your progress is saved automatically.

What if I run out of hints?

You get three free hints a day. After that you can watch a short video to earn one more, or unlock Wend Premium for unlimited hints and no ads.

Is there a way to play more than once a day?

Yes — the Unlimited mode gives you endless random puzzles in Easy, Medium, or Hard, separate from the daily.

Does it support Dark Mode?

Yes — choose System, Light, or Dark in Settings.

Wend does not collect, share, or sell any personal data.
All game data, statistics, and progress are stored locally on your device.
No account or sign-in is required to play.
The app shows ads through Google AdMob; ad personalization can be controlled in your device settings.
The app uses Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) to ask your permission before any tracking across other companies’ apps and websites for personalized advertising. You may allow or deny this, and change your choice anytime in Settings.
The app uses Microsoft Clarity and Google/Firebase Analytics to understand anonymous, aggregate usage so we can improve the app.
The app does not track your location or access personal information.
