Spelling Bee — Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 21, 2026

Overview

Spelling Bee is a daily pangram word game for iPhone and iPad. We designed it to respect your privacy: Spelling Bee does not require an account, and it does not collect, share, or sell your personal data.

Data stored on your device

Your game progress — daily streaks, found words, statistics, achievements, your custom dictionary, and settings — is stored locally on your device. It is not uploaded to us.

Advertising

Spelling Bee shows ads through Google AdMob, including optional rewarded ads you can choose to watch to reveal a word or unlock an archive day. Before any tracking across other companies’ apps and websites for personalized advertising, the app asks your permission using Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT). You may allow or deny this, and change your choice anytime in your device Settings. You can also unlock Premium (a one-time purchase) to remove all ads.

Analytics

We use Google / Firebase Analytics to understand anonymous, aggregate usage (such as which screens are used) so we can improve the app. This data is not used to identify you personally.

Purchases

Premium is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase handled entirely by Apple through your App Store account. We never see or store your payment information.

What we don’t do

Children

Spelling Bee is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
