Mist: Mini Sudoku

The Idea

Mist is sudoku shrunk to a calmer size. Every puzzle is a 6×6 grid — big enough to make you think, small enough to finish in a quiet moment between everything else.

There are no clocks screaming at you and no lives to lose. Just a watercolour world of soft mornings and moonlit nights, a gentle ripple when you place a number, and the small satisfaction of a board falling into place.

One shared daily puzzle arrives each day, and three difficulty journeys are always open when you want more.

How To Play

1Fill the grid with 1–6
Every row, every column, and every 2×3 box must contain the numbers 1 through 6 — each exactly once.
2Start from the givens
Some cells are already filled. Use them to rule numbers in and out, one cell at a time.
3Pencil in notes
Not sure yet? Switch to notes mode and jot small candidates in a cell until the answer reveals itself.
4Ask for a hint when stuck
A hint fills in a correct cell for you. Free players earn hints by watching a short ad; Premium makes them unlimited.
5Watch the board bloom
Finish the puzzle and the whole board ripples like water — your streak grows, achievements unlock, and tomorrow brings a new day.

Questions

How is 6×6 different from classic sudoku?

Same logic, smaller canvas. You place 1–6 instead of 1–9, and boxes are 2×3 instead of 3×3. A puzzle takes minutes rather than half an hour — deliberate, but never heavy.

When does a new daily puzzle arrive?

A new puzzle unlocks each day and is the same for every player. Your progress is saved automatically, so you can step away mid-puzzle and return where you left off.

What if I want to play more than once a day?

The Easy, Medium and Hard journeys are always open, with long runs of levels to work through at your own pace.

Do mistakes cost anything?

No. A wrong number is simply shown in a warning colour so you can reconsider — there are no lives, no penalties, no game over.

Does it support Dark Mode?

Yes — choose System, Light, or Dark in Settings, and dress the whole app in any atmosphere you’ve unlocked.

Premium

Mist is free to play. Premium removes all ads, makes hints unlimited, and unlocks the exclusive Moon Garden and Sakura Dream atmospheres — and helps support continued development. It’s offered as a monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime unlock.

Subscription terms

Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the same price.
You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your App Store account settings.
The lifetime unlock is a one-time, non-renewing purchase.
Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Privacy Policy

Mist does not collect, share, or sell any personal data.
All game data, statistics, achievements, and progress are stored locally on your device.
No account or sign-in is required to play.
The app shows ads through Google AdMob; before any tracking across other companies’ apps and websites for personalized advertising, the app asks your permission using Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT). You may allow or deny this, and change your choice anytime in Settings.
Anonymous, aggregate usage analytics (Google / Firebase Analytics and Microsoft Clarity) help us improve the app and are not used to identify you.
The app does not track your location or access personal information.
