1. How do I play Quadrix?

Use the on-screen keyboard to type a 5-letter word, then press Enter to submit your guess. Your guess is applied to all active boards at once. Each board has its own target word, so the same guess may show different color results on each board. Solve all the words before running out of guesses to win!

2. What do the colors mean?

After each guess, the letters change color to show how close your guess was:

• Blue: The letter is in the word and in the correct position.
• Purple: The letter is in the word but in the wrong position.
• Gray: The letter is not in the word at all.

The keyboard also updates to show the best known state for each letter across all boards, helping you track which letters you've used.

3. What is Daily Challenge?

Daily Challenge presents the same four-word puzzle to everyone around the world each day. Complete it to maintain your streak! A countdown timer shows when the next puzzle becomes available. Your progress is automatically saved, so you can close the app and return to continue where you left off.

4. What is Unlimited Mode?

Unlimited Mode gives you unlimited random puzzles to sharpen your skills. Choose from four difficulty levels:

• Relaxed: 2 boards with 9 guesses — perfect for beginners
• Classic: 4 boards with 9 guesses — the standard experience
• Challenge: 4 boards with 7 guesses — for experts only
• Ultimate: 8 boards with 13 guesses — the ultimate test

5. What achievements can I unlock?

6. How does the game track my statistics?

Quadrix tracks comprehensive gaming statistics in the Journey tab:

• Words Solved: Total words you've solved across all games
• Games Played: Total number of games completed
• Total Wins: Number of games won
• Win Rate: Percentage of games won
• Daily Puzzles: Number of daily challenges completed
• Personal Bests: Fastest time and fewest guesses for each difficulty
• Guess Distribution: Chart showing how many guesses it takes you to win

7. What happens when a board is solved?

When you correctly guess a word, that board shows a checkmark and becomes inactive. Your subsequent guesses will only apply to the remaining unsolved boards. The board displays which guess number solved that word.

8. Does the app support Dark Mode?

Yes! Quadrix supports both Light and Dark modes. You can choose System (follows your device setting), Light, or Dark in the Settings tab.

9. Is Quadrix available on iPad?

Yes! Quadrix is optimized for both iPhone and iPad, with adaptive layouts that make the most of your screen size.

Tips for Success

• Start with vowel-rich words: Words like AUDIO, ADIEU, or RAISE help identify vowels early.
• Watch all boards carefully: A letter might be gray on one board but blue on another.
• Use the keyboard colors: They show the best result across all boards.
• Don't waste guesses: Every guess counts toward solving all the words!
• Practice makes perfect: Use Unlimited Mode to develop your strategy.
• Progress through difficulties: Start with Relaxed if you're new, then work your way up to Classic, Challenge, and eventually Ultimate.
